Meet Cinderella Noel IV: The 50m Heesen Superyacht with a Hybrid Heart

Heesen Yachts, the Dutch yacht builder, has unveiled its latest masterpiece: the 49.9-metre superyacht Cinderella Noel IV. The yacht, also known as Oslo24, was launched in Oss, the Netherlands, after a special ceremony in October 2021, where the owner and their family welded ‘good-luck coins’ to her keel. Cinderella Noel IV is a 50-metre steel superyacht with a high level of customisation. The owner, an avid yachtsman, requested a second helm station on the flybridge, connected by a staircase to the wheelhouse, for a better view and control of the yacht.

The Exterior

The exterior design of Cinderella Noel IV is by Clifford Denn Design, who gave her a sleek and elegant profile. The interior design is by Luca Dini Design & Architecture, who worked closely with Heesen Yachts’ naval architects to create a harmonious and functional space.

“This project has been a unique experience,” commented Silvia Margutti of Luca Dini Design and Architecture, “driven by the owner’s passion and the shipyard’s expertise, with every detail analysed and agreed with the clients. This ‘Smart Custom’ build confirmed Heesen’s ability to achieve excellent results and nurture a close relationship with clients to fulfil their special requests.”

The Interior

The interior of Cinderella Noel IV reflects the family’s love for the sea and the nature. The décor is a sophisticated and pure expression of quiet luxury and Scandinavian chic. White, greige and taupe soft furnishings contrast with high gloss Indian rosewood and dark oak flooring to create an elegant base for accents of colour. Deep blue and musk-green elements add a touch of vibrancy to the space. The yacht is designed to cruise the fjords and waterways of the high northern latitudes, and the interior scheme matches the natural beauty of the destinations. Fine leather panels by Foglizzo Atelier show antique sea charts of the owners’ favourite cruising areas. A leitmotif of gentle ripples in the woodwork is used vertically and horizontally to emphasise the connection with nature. Iconic pieces of loose furniture have been carefully selected from Cassina, Paola Lenti and Toso, among others.

The Building of Cinderella Noel IV

The owner has been heavily involved in the design of Cinderella Noel IV, together with the owner’s representative, Stefan Zucker of Zucker & Partner. She features leather and warm tones which add a homely and comfortable feel to the vessel.

“We had a terrific experience with the clients and the shipyard. Heesen’s ‘Smart Custom’ solution represented the perfect starting point for an experienced yachtsman to concentrate on the important details for him and his family. Cinderella Noel IV is a testament to Heesen’s intelligent approach, allowing this family to create their dream machine with the certainty of a result which would have taken considerably more time and cost to build individually without being sufficiently tested,” explained Stefan Zucker.

Cinderella Noel IV is a steel yacht with a hybrid heart. She features a hybrid propulsion system, a first-time installation for Heesen, which allows her to cruise silently at up to 8.5 knots. She also has a foldable mast for navigating bridge passages and channel navigation lights for planned canal and lock passages. These additions show that Cinderella Noel IV is a yacht built and equipped for her intended use. Cinderella Noel IV is a superyacht that showcases the owners’ passion and experience. They put a lot of energy into creating a yacht that perfectly suits their lifestyle. They worked closely with our team of experts to find the most intelligent solutions. The design and build of this ‘Smart Custom’ yacht has been a wonderful experience for us all at the shipyard.
